Here is our newest family member. Quite photogenic, wouldn't you agree??
Haha. I've had my ol' Kenmore for a good 10 years and really didn't think that I needed anything more than that. So I kinda shrugged him off when Jzboy said he wanted to give me a new machine for Christmas. Then we browsed a few Sew & Vac shops and a couple Janome/Babylock dealers. Didn't take me long to change my attitude. Jzboy did a lot of the research - because there are some serious techie points to consider. I fell in love with this Janome after getting a very good demo, a promise of lessons for the life of the machine and that was that. Those lessons are certainly going to come in handy as I have NO IDEA what to do with 14 feet!
Christmas gift + a full liquidation of the Jade fund x limitless creative opportunities = Priceless Distraction for Waiting IA Mother2Be

Wow! Great choice! If my Elna ever dies, I'm getting a Janome, too. Their sergers are fantastic, BTW. I'm envious that you have time to sew. I have a lot of naked baby, Barbie and Ken dolls and I'm itching to sew. I have to do the moses basket for my sister soon, too, because her shower in next month.
ReplyDeleteYes, but can it digitally record TV programs?
ReplyDeleteOnce I get around to finding time to research a new machine, I'll have to check this one out. All I have now is my mom's 40+ year old Singer. Keep us informed as to how it works out. I have little experience too and will be anxious to know how you end yo dping with your new gal.
