ReplyDeleteI have a red thread bracelet that I started wearing 2 years before we got Daniel. The thread had long disintegrated by the time we got to China, but it made such a tangible connection for me.
This winter, I was letting in the dogs when it snagged on the patio door and dropped down through the slats in our back deck. It'll be there when the snow melts, I know, so I'm not too worried.
