This is a great Debbie Bliss pattern that knits up fast. I love it so much that I bought several different yarns for all these babies that seem to be entering my life right now. Remember the ones I made for my neice? Digging through my stash, I ran across some suuuper cool rainbowish-ragg-wool-looking yarn that I used to make some fingerless gloves last year. It is a miracle - I thought I'd used it all up on the gloves. That will be buttercup's pair. Best color yet.
This pair is for Little Baby Joy Division. We look forward to meeting her early next year. I hope that she and buttercup will become BBF's. They are certain to party it up with many a playdate. Can't wait.
I must get back to the bear. Stay tuned.
Those are cute as it gets....I do envy the knitting/sewing type. I'm gonna try to learn some things myself but, let's face it, at this point I'm only any good at sewing people! I don't need a pattern for that :0)
ReplyDeleteCu-uute! What's the update on your other works in progess? ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love these little booties. I started learning how to knit last year in the hope to be able to make something like this for our little one. Alas, I am still in the heavy-concentration phase, where I can't stop or look away, or the whole project is ruined. Who am I kidding, the whole row is ruined from the scarf I have been trying to make for approximately 14 months!
ReplyDeleteThose are adorable!!

I am so impressed! Those booties are so very cute and cozy looking! I've tried knitting but seem to fare better with crochet, easier to undo mistakes!
