Iris is a Momma Cat! And I am so proud of her.
She is teaching wee Peyton how to play and how to share. It is incredibly endearing. Iris is doing so much better, but still not her old self. Today I feel as though she is her old self, but now in a Momma Cat role, therefore just a bit more reserved and "motherly". I hope that I'm right.
Fun stuff....
Over the past few months, I've fully embraced the whole etsy community "thing"....and, let me tell you, it has been a lot of great fun. My CCCOE (California Crafters Club of Etsy) group is very, very active and motivated to promote each other's work. Its Great!
I couldn't have chosen a better bunch of people to engage with amidst the huge etsy collective. Today was a first! One of my creations was featured on the FRONT PAGE of ETSY! Here is a Screen Shot picture of the "event":
Do you see my Summer Of Love Owl down there in the left hand corner??
What does this mean, you ask? Well, when you hit the front page....a whole lot of peeps end up seeing something you've made and that you're selling and, hopefully, come visit your shop. That is what happened - lots of visitors, lots of love & lots of mad props for my work. Neat.
So, in the spirit of sharing, I'd like to show off my most recent additions to my shop. My Wedges of Sunshine! Allow me to introduce you to:
Samson:
Mari/Short for Marigold:
and Raye:
All of these guys embrace their love for the sunny side of life - making morning glories awake, painting rainbows in the sky and putting a shine on a freshly washed corvette. Thank you dearly for clicking here to take a look at these cute wee plushies.
This weekend I will be showing off alllll of my creations at my very first Craft Show. It is a show called Craftaluma that is sponsored, in part, by Etsy!
Come On By if you live close....and say hello! I'll give you the buttercup discount.
Happy Summer! xoxoxox

Cute pic of the kitties!
If we camp up that way this weekend, we will definitely come by. Good luck with the show, they are hard work but tons of fun!!
Good luck with the show. Lovely little sunshines!
So glad you're finding the etsy community really rewarding. Love wedges of sunshine!

Awesome!

That photo of Iris and Peyton is A.DOR.A.BLE. I'm so glad to hear that Iris is feeling better and has taken to the mothering role. It sure looks like they are happily co-dependent on one another; sleeping nose to nose.
Big congrats on your newest community AND making the etsy front page! That's too cool. I hope that the craft show this weekend exceeds all your expectations, that your new craft buds are as fun and spicy as their creations, and that you sell everything you take! Good luck! xo
You are SO incredibly creative, I can't stand it... LOVE the wedges of sunshine! You're gonna have to start thinking up some bad ideas so I don't go broke buying your stuff...lol. ;)
And that pic of the fur babies? Totally priceless...
The photo of the cats is too precious and very sweet. They are beautiful together.
Glad the pillow crafting has taken off for you. I'm sure the extra cash is really nice as well.
Your kitties are lovely! How exciting to see your summer of love owl on the front page! The wedges look delightful. Rock 'em at the craft show!
Catching up and I'm sorry to hear things have been so rough for Iris, but I'm glad she's on the mend and taking to the Mama role. They are sweet together.
Love to see the kitties so friendly - wish they could e-mail our two little be-yotches to feel more love, less attitude!!
And your little wedges of sunshine are adorable, too, of course.
So glad your kitties are getting along! They are too cute!
Hope you do great at the craft show... I am sure you will... as for the cats... I will have them whenever you don't want... can't blame a girl for trying... hehe
I love 'em all! And happy kitties make life better.
