Five Fifteen

Its been Four long years since we gathered all the paperwork together and began this pathway to parenthood.

Finally it is starting feel as though we are in the final stretch of the longest of Ultra Marathons. Tired, thirsty, calloused and maybe hallucinating a bit, we keep looking forward. Because, as long as we keep putting one foot in front of the other, we will make it to the end.

Which, really, is only the beginning.

I've been thinking about it that way for a while, "it's just the beginning". And so the line "every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end" is never far away.

I'll be echoing these thoughts over my way some day soon too!

Glad to see us all nearing the beginning.

Reminds me of the Chicago lyrics " Only the beginning of what I want to feel forever."

I'm feeling such excitement as all my May friends get closer. Will be here to celebrate your new beginnings - wouldn't miss it for all the money in the world.
