How'd you take a picture of my crib???

Okay, that picture brings tears to my eyes. It speaks volumes.

Hugs to you, my friend...

You're one step ahead of me, our crib is still in the box. We wouldn't even have a crib if our fencing team hadn't given us one last year.

That's my crib too! I'm actually thinking about dismantling it. I want to paint and it's in the way, but mostly because as each month of referrals comes out I'm starting to realize it could be a very long time until we need the crib and I just can't look at every day. I just can't.

Can I feel happy and sad at the same time? I'm happy that you have the optimism to set it up....I'm sad that its full of stuff and not full of baby.

Hugs!

Well doesn't that say it all! I know I have not been "around" much, but am still with you in spirit.

Chat with you soon.

Looks like mine, my friend - now that I have dismantled it again after the "hope" for little Clara perished. Now it is all for our Ruby - may she meet us in 2008, but who knows???

It's a real bite to be able to relate to that shot. I feel ya. The crib in my house is a cat bed...spoiled arses.

You're right. Keeping it wordless is best at this point.

Is THAT how I keep the cat out of the crib?!

Beautiful crib. Who knew they'd make such great storage bins? =(

Although it is bittersweet that Buttercup is not yet the occupant of that bed, it still warms my heart to see it up, and to see so many things in it for the little lady--it is a symbol of hope to me, your hope and mine for our someday children. If only the Chinese gov't knew how loved and spoiled this girl is going to be!!

HUGS

That crib is singing to me "fill me up, Buttercup". So nice to see it up and ready. Can't wait until Wordless Wednesday includes the picture of your baby sleeping in that same crib. Getting chills over here.

WooHoo, lots of goodies in there! I love those Amazon boxes. I dropped a bundle at Norstrom Rack tonight. Go check out the kids stuff on sale, Zutano for under $10!!!

Speaks volumes.

I can't bring myself to even buy a crib.

Ah. A storage crib, naturally. Might as well make the most of it while you... you know, wait.

Oh sweety! I have been praying for that crib to be occupied by someone, other than boxes.
Biggest hugs!
I revealed my little "secret" today on my blog :-)
biggest hugs,
Laura
