Show & Tell

Well, I've finally waded through the large batch of pictures that we took in PA. Here are a few favorites:

AUTUMN COLOR

APPLEFEST

GRANDPA Z's GRAND NATIONAL CHAMP

GRANDPA Z's SWEET RIDE

We had such an incredibly colorful, fun & relaxing trip...and the weather couldn't have been more perfect. Welllllll, honestly....? I would have LOVED a tiny, wee thunderstorm but the dry skies made it perfect for the auto show. Otherwise, this was a perfect trip and came around at just the right time. It was rejuvenating & inspired us to plan a few more getaways.

Now THAT is very good news!!

Ah, PA...I miss the hills - they make the fall colors seem so much richer.

The one thing I miss about living in VA is the fall foliage. The leaves are just now starting to turn here, and the weather today is in the high 70's, so it doesn't quite feel like fall to me yet.

Gorgeous photos!

Beautiful pictures! Those candy apples made my mouth water...mmm
It has been raining here all day and I couldn't help but cringe when I saw that you wrote you had wished for rain. Being in a school where indoor recesses were the cause of much "I'm -going-to-pull-all-my-hair-out-at-any-second-ness",
I won't be wishing for rain for a looooong time. ;)

Beeyootiful autumn pictures! Isn't it funny how the sporty paint job on your Grandpa's sweet ride looks EXACTLY like the candied apple? Hmmm... I also think it's funny that I never knew what a candy apple was. I still don't. I just know that that's what you took a picture of (because other people said so). How sad is that? That picture makes 'em look might yummy though. Thanks for sharing your trip.

Where I am in Eastern PA, the leaves are just starting to come into their full color change the last couple of days. I stood on my back deck this morning and just breathed it all in. Fall is definetely my favorite time of the year.
