Kickin' It

Ahh, the holiday let down. And I mean that in the most positive way. Time to let down my hair, recover from all of the cookin'/bakin'/sewin' and frettin'. I got to do exactly what I've been dreaming of for the past few weeks:

Snuggle in with Iris, sip a bit o' PGTips and catch up on the Real World/Denver.

Now I am ready to enjoy the weekend!!!

**Edited to add PGTips link - our favorite tea around here**

Okay, it took me a while to figure out that picture, but now I understand. This is usually how my little Bear snuggles with me. Arse to my tummy and flat out. It's quite the comforting thing to have a cat snuggle with you and give you the warmth they emit. Kind of like a furbaby heating pad. Enjoy!

Soo, did you really get to catch up on all the RW?

Aw...

You've got a lap warmer. I have two would-be lap warmers, but that ain't gonna happen.

I'm glad you're enjoying some time off.

Did you see that Kayce (One Two Grow) is trying to coordinate a CNY get-together in SF's Chinatown on March 3rd? I'm going to see if I can make it, but I've gotta check on my due dates for this next class first.

I had to look twice at the pic, too. Very cute. And exactly what I did tonight. Got some carry out and watched a movie in my jammies. (penguin ones, of course.) A very much needed evening to decompress.

Looks so cozy. I know Iris is glad that you've slowed down, too. Our cats hate to have their routines out of whack. I gotta ask - what's PGTips? Happy New Year, sweetheart!

Ahhh... sounds fab. Happy relaxed New Year! I must admit I am also ignorant about PGTips.

I'm jealous. That was my after-Christmas dream that is now being ruined by construction workers and a leaky toilet/wet floor. They better be outta here soon. S'all I'm sayin'.

What a great photo. Insert Miss Daisy and that is what we are doing here. ('cept we are drinking coffee...and lychee/cranberry martinis!)

Keep smilin!

Same pose here only in the recliner with a cat and some peppermint mocha coffee. We all need a break from holiday stress, CCAA stress, and just stress in general. Looks like a lovely time.

Rest your dogs (literally and figuratively), it's time for a New Year!

Oh wait - Iris is a cat! She looks like a huge dog from that angle! Sorry pal!

Homer moment.

Hey chick,
I'm envious of your kick-back NYE. You asked on my blog about Real World/Denver. I'm just not that hip or in tune, I don't think I knew they were here until they were almost gone. and then I was at the mall when they were apparently there. I was having lunch ath CA Pizza Kitchen and several big limo's with a camera crews were sitting at the valet spot, folks got in a nd drove off. After that out waiter told us it was for the Real World show. He thne had to educate me on what the hec that was. I don't have cable, so I've never seen the show. Lame-O, but oh well, that's me :)

I watched the real world Denver the other day and caught up. Did you see the girl cry because she got lost trying to find a nail salon? I know where she was walking and believe me, there is no nail salon there. I cracked up! Oh and the one with the girl that went to the ER and found out that she had mono, that is the hospital I was born in. Too funny.

Anyway, happy new year sweetie. I hope to meet you in 2007 when I come to the Bay area.
