Can't Wait

I hate to brag, but I've got a really hot date with my Kenmore this weekend.

I've been looking forward to this for some time. Pure, unadulterated quality time with needle, thread and creative flow. Little is scheduled and the weekend chores are already finished. There are a couple unfinished projects that I want to complete -- so that I can move on to this one:

Would anyone like to venture a guess as to what this newly acquired pile of goodness will turn itself into by Sunday?

Check in later for "after" pictures...I am bound and determined to have this pretty little undertaking finished before it is time to start up Sunday dinner!

What are you up to this weekend??

I'm going to guess that that adorable fabric will become a skirt or sundress.....

Looking forward to the 'after' pictures!

This weekend is the first in a LONG time that we are home to do things around the house.

GREAT fabric! Enjoy your quality time with 'Ken'. :)

I can't see the first picture, only a little red x. I can't wait to see the after pictures. I would guess a cute sundress.

My eight year old niece is coming to visit for two weeks starting today. It is going to be a fun weekend!

Sounds like fun! I'm sure the end product will be gorgeous.

I'm jealous. My sewing machine is just sitting there all lonely and neglected. It's only friends are all the lonely and neglected projects that are stacking up right next to it.

Will it be a pretty little apron? I have a lot of friends making awesome aprons lately.

We're chock full of twin-pleasing plans this weekend. Pool with Uncle Bobby & Aunt Jane today, bbq this evening, a fun antique car race with Grambob and Wela tomorrow. Fun stuff.

Hmm, sundress or apron is my guess or maybe curtains?

I'm waiting to hear about the audition results with a knotted stomach. We had 2 graduation parties yesterday and a farewell picnic. Today it's church and then Buttons will stay with friends while we go to the theater.
