B.B.E. = Big Brown Envelope!

Wegotit! Wegotit!! We GOT it!!!!

I mean, we got...them?

Yea, we got TWO Big Brown Envelopes! My sister who was visiting when the mail-lady arrived with the plain brown wrappered items said, "You're gonna have twins"!!!!

I was getting really envious of the folks in my DTC group b/c over the past few weeks loads of them have gotten their respective envelopes!! Now we have ours. And, it feels pretty darn good.

Looking through the paperwork enclosed is cool, because I know that one day we will painstakingly fill out each page in China & then walk out of the consulate with a brand spankin' new visa for our future daughter. This is a vision that I'm going to hold tightly all weekend.

**Does anyone else think it's odd that we got 2? I actually looked twice at the address wondering if one might belong to a closeby neighbor...how cool would that be?**

Gosh, what's better--being one of the first to get their BBE, or getting 2 BBEs?? You must be really special!

I got two also...it, unfortuantely, doesn't mean scooby snacks.

Hey, I was happy to get one!

Two?! Ok, I've never heard of that before (although it looks like Connie had the same experience). How funny.

Have you checked the case numbers? Are they the same? Maybe you could sell your extra case number to the highest bidder. Humunah, humunah, do I hear $200?

Congrats! I wasn't even aware of the 'brown envelope' until the month before our referral. When I called our agency they told me that not everyone gets one & some people get multiple. They said that's the way it goes. Hmmmm. Anyhoo, glad I wasn't expecting one since I would've worried that I was lost in the shuffle.

The confirmation is great - CELEBRATE!

Congrats! Can I live vicariously through you? We don't get one in Illinois. Have a great weekend dreaming!

Do you really ever get too old to get excited when you get mail? That's great! Sounds like you're really on your way to mommyhood!
