As flattered as I am by the posts (& emails) about selling my "wares" let me just tell you....
This is why I just can't bring myself to do it...
It can get a bit difficult at times. And, you know, there begins the emotional connection. KWIM? This is why I only keep or give away my creations ~ as gifts to special people. Because there is just a bit too much invested. Besides - there are many imperfections........
Does that make sense?
This ONE wee bear leg took quite a bit longer than I thought. And, well, who knows when I'll want to do that again? I guess, for leg #2, but after that? Wellllllll, maybe I'll be onto the next thing. I bore easily. I don't think that I've got the sales-thing in me as far as the creative pursuits are concerned, KWIM?
Sorry to disappoint.
But, hey, maybe you'll invite me to a baby shower someday & be very surprised........
xo

Hmm...traveling to Ohio for a baby shower anytime soon?
Seriously, I can't wait to see the finished bear. I'm sure he'll be excellente...he's made with love :0)
I totally understand the emotional connection to things you create. It's a ltitle piece of you!
Yeah, a friend of mine suggested I sell things on-line and I just don't want to get into knitting as a job. I understand completely!
BTW, what does KWIM mean?
KWIM = know what I mean?
I do KWYM, but I think that YOU will be the only one who sees any imperfections. The best is that it is made with love.
I am with you about easily getting bored. I love anything creative but I go from knitting, to scrapbooking, card making and I am back on a jewelry making kick! :-) I have ADCD, attention deficit crafting disorder! Ha! BTW I tagged you again, I promise this one is easier and fun!!
Have a good day!
ADCD - Ha!Ha!
I KWYM - I've had relatives ask me to make a scrapbook for their children. I couldn't ask to be reimbursed for what it really costs (time and $) to make one. So, I get it.
But, it's still nice to see the pictures of your creations. The bear is going to be adorable.
Oh you are a talented knitter. I wanted to make socks a few years back and wound up with one long legwarmer.
Can't wait to see the cuddly bear. He's growing! I KWYM about keeping things or giving them away, as k said, it'sa litlle piece of you.
Love the bear and the talent behind it. My talent is writing checks to people like you to pay for things this cute!
I so wish I had the patience (not to mention the skill) to knit. I see all you ladies out there making the most amazing things...and I'm so envious. I was just thinking that maybe you'd all like to come to my baby shower? I'll serve white wine...;0)
