Potty Talk

We were at a picnic last weekend & one of these was passed around.

In case you are as clueless as we were (until Saturday, that is) this lovely contraption is a toilet lid lock. Very interesting, hmm? We sure thought so.

Jzboy took a long, hard look at it. His eyes seemed to measure the quality and usefulness of the product.

His assessment? Without even the slightest bit of sarcasm he said,
"This would be awfully difficult to maneuver if you had arthritis."

I guess he's preparing himself for a much longer wait than I am. I sure hope that we don't become senior citizens before our baby girl starts potty training.

I have a 5 year old and I have to admit, I didn't know what it was. Thank God she never fell in the toilet, eh?

Ha!!! A much longer wait. You crack me up.

We haven't installed ours yet, but we'll let you know how it works.

I could use one of those to keep that cats from lifting the lid!

Tell boy that if he's that old he won't be able to bend over to lift the lid anyway...watch out, that's when they start peeing in the sink. Ugh!

What if you have to pee really bad?

Wow Wendy,
I had no idea what is was either. We were fortunate, I guess, that G never played with the toilet!
hugs,

What the heck? Why deny your child the occasional, short-lived fun of playing in the toilet?

I'm having some trouble figuring out how that would work!

What if you hurt your back and can't bend over...oh boy. Sounds messy :) My husband will love this contraption, Mr. Toolman. We, too, may be on walkers by the time this is all over. The rumors are rampant!

Thanks for visiting my blogs. My "paradise" is the northwest suburbs of Chicago. I have come across the Naked Ovary - I'll have to check it out again. Thanks again - Jennifer

Let's hope the wait isn't that long.

I wouldn't have known what that was either.

I had a foster mom show me one a few years ago. I assumed she got it for the children, but laughed my ass off to find out it was really because of the dog! They had a Retriever mix who loved to play in the water - ANY water! Messy messy messy................
