I am with you on ITUMES and blogger. Quilting may have hope for 2007 since I am close to 100 squares now.
That is a great list sweetie. I hope 2007 is good for you. Hey, you may even get to meet little Miss Shayna
Good stuff!
I had no idea what a Beard Papa was...those things look dangerously delish.
I am rediscovering quilting this year. I made about seven quilts in the past, but NONE in 2006! This year I have three planned.
I cannot wait to see your quilt!!!!
And Beard Papas, hmmm....have got to check those babies out.
I wonder how many WW points are in a Beard Papa? Those look delicious!
David Sedaris makes every year a little better...
David Sedaris is a god, albeit one with a funny voice. Speaking of ITunes, I'm listening to your adoption waiting list right this second. I'd LOVE another playlist when you have time. This is another reason I'm so grateful for younger friends - they introduce me to new music! xoxo
Ugly Betty was one of my happy discoveries too!
Sedaris rocks, rolls, then rocks some more. Anne Frank's apartment? His little willage?
bring it
I just watched Ugly Betty for the first time last week, and I thought it was really good! How long can they keep her ugly?
I LOVE Ugly Betty too!! I just finished watching it tonight!!
Ugly Betty's my homie.
Okay, so you were my FIRST squish ever. Got it yesterday. Having never done an exchange before, the quALT is my only experience, and yours was the first I received. Thought you'd like to know you have that (dubious?) honor!
Thank you, BTW!
you are my new best friend! I checked out the Beard Papa's website and found that they have a store just a few blocks from my house! never noticed it before - tucked into a larger complex, but oh man! they will know me by name soon. my mom is coming to visit in two weeks - she needs some cheering up, and LOVES cream puffs - thanks for the great tip
joelle
And 2007 is going to be even better!
Rockin squish! Just got it today and I love it!
Also, we did NOT decide on Morgan--that was just tundrachica's vote.
I really liked "Mimosa", but Mike shot it down right away. Boys!
OK. Commenting on something else as I am catching up, but loved your post about how you came to the decision on China adoption. Makes total sense.
I find most things are not as romantically set as you would imagine. Meeting your significant other, marriage, love in general. Too much ideation that these thing - all things - have this romantic quality in which everything has total meaning and importance from the beginning. I was hitting on my husband's friend and didn't even notice him until I was leaving the party. Not so Sleepless in Seatle romantic, eh? And these love fest conceptions we all assume will happen? Dashed. Instead we usually have these long stories full of expenses and pain about how our children came to be! At least the IF crowd....
So good for you to write it out, that it was a series of things that led you in the direction, not some twist of fate fantasmical eclipse. (0:
